Yamasaki Family Clinic was founded in October, 2014 by Koichiro Yamasaki, MD, PhD and provides high quality, US standard primary health care in Amagasaki, Hyogo, Japan. Dr. Yamasaki is specialized in Family Medicine, Diabetes, and Geriatric Medicine as well as Anti-Aging Medicine. He graduated from Jikei University School of Medicine in Tokyo and trained in Internal Medicine and Diabetes/ Endocrinology. He then finished residency in Family Medicine at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, PA and fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at University of Hawaii, HI, USA. After completion of 5 years of training in the US, he worked at one of the biggest geriatric hospitals in Shizuoka and Eli Lilly Japan, an US based global pharmaceutical company in Kobe as a clinical research physician in Diabetes area. Based on Dr. Yamasaki’s rich experiences of medical practice both in Japan and US, we understand the cultural differences and concerns living in a foreign country. Yamasaki Family Clinic is very happy to serve for local community and international community as well in Kansai area.
